When we say launch we mean that in the soft-launch kind of context. We are all up and functional, the site should work 98% of the time and we have a fair lump of content for you to all start pranking your mates with. We have cut down our categories so you now have:
- Softcore – For the softcore browser pranks
- Rickroll Urls – A category just for rick roll prank urls
- Adult/Offensive – We move more into the make people feel sick if you prank them with an url from off of one of these pages
- Hardcore – This is for the hardcore internet pranksters – some of the prank urls given on these pages will knock your friends off their seats
We also added a whole box of functionality across the board – Random Prank urls is a great place to find some random urls to prank your friends with, we are accepting your domain donations and we formalised our “no bullshit on noobSpin.com” into a no bad stuff policy.
We wrote a short history of the rick roll, just incase your friends are noobs and dont understand the basic principles of the internets and even got a front page cartoon explanation made up.
We are set to formally open the doors today, but we arent going to promote it yet, because soft launchs work better.

Although the whole concept of noobSpin.com seems simple to most people, others are not so capable and learn better with diagrams and crap. For these people the above illustrates the basic concept -> go to noobSpin.com -> find a funny prank from our huge ever growing selection -> copy an url from the list given on that pranks page -> paste it too a freind to send them to a prank url!
We have made the urls nice and undescript so you should be able to wind up even the most paranoid of your friends!
Welcome to the first ever post @ noobSpin .com, as a precursor to the launch of the site we thought we would shove up a bit of blurb on how noob spin.com was born.
It all started with one rickroll too many, as a lot of things do – a friend innocently gave an undescript link via the media of an msn messenger conversation. The link was not as previously described “a good writeup on AMD Phenom’s” and more resembled an uncloseable irratating looping rick astley video which was amusing for the whole of 2 seconds before the process was abrubtly ended. Little did our friend realise he had started a war that will continue forever more. noobs are all around us, they are in our streets and in our towns. They mill around shops like PC World and then pollute our interwebz with “ask before looking” mentalities and lazy attitudes. They pour out of holes like dp forums and ask stupid questions. The war against the noob is happening everyday, with easier internet access and cheaper shittier computers. noobSpin .com was is being written to arm the non noobs.
Over the years there has been some great online pranks, browser pranks and url’s to send un-suspecting people too – however its often the case they get forgotten or taken down and theres only so manytimes you can send someone to meatspin.com one of these urls before they start to realise whats being shown to them. noobSpin.com will take all of these offensive/funny/rickroll urls and bring them together in an eclectic mix of offensive and funny url’s to send your freinds too.
All you need to do is prepare some noobs for spinning, perhaps send them a few quality links over im or email, and then once prepped just drop a prank url from one of noobspin.com’s categories (From rickrolls to Hardcore offensive stuff) into the mix. We will try and get a cross section of domains to make the victim not suspect fowl play, allowing you to teach a noob a lesson once and for all.
The web is now the wild west, and noobspin is your six shooter. pick a noob and catch him out, just don’t blame us if the boss doesn’t find a gyrating penis as funny as you do!!
Some features we will have:
- Full user registration/community
- Custom urls (count the noobs you get) / Url Messages (show the noobs’ your comedy custom text)
- We will accept any old domains you have lying around for the good cause of noob pranking – and we will get a ton of generic ones too
- Rickrolls, spinning body parts, javascript scripts to wind people up and many other browser pranks
- All pranks will have a number of different urls so you can spin a noob two times!
